Egyptian King Cements His Legacy

Liverpool goal-scoring machine Mohamed Salah has scored his 100th Premier League goal versus Leeds. Salah has become the 30th player to achieve this feat.
I’m not sure if anybody could have ever imagined him reaching this landmark after his spell at Chelsea. Only 2 goals in 14 appearances for the London club.
His second stint in the PL with Liverpool, however, has been nothing short of legendary. During his time at the Merseyside club, he has made 148 appearances for 98 goals. Along with 36 assists, these are stats of the absolute elite in world football.
He becomes the second African player to make this landmark. Chelsea legend Didier Drogba was the first. Incredibly, Salah has done it in nearly 100 fewer games.
He is the fifth-fastest player in history to join the Premier League 100 club, taking Arsenal legend Ian Wright’s place in the top 5. The players who achieved the feat faster than Egyptian Salah are, in order, Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, and Thierry Henry. All are bonafide Premier League legends.
Salah is a two-time golden boot winner, Premier League champion, and 2017/18 Player of the Season. Mohamed Salah has etched his name in both Liverpool and Premier League history and shows no signs of slowing up.
